Biography: Norman Short has held many jobs in a varied and interesting life: rock and roll singer, welders helper, pizza chef, carnival barker, salesman, retail manager, and farmer among them. His hobbies include film, games, music, and home theater. His love of film has been constant through his 40 odd years, but when the decision came to leave the consumer electronics field and take over a family farm (one that has been in his family since the turn of the last century) he now had time to write about the films he loved, and took a full time position at DVD Verdict. Now a gentleman farmer generally at leisure, he has the time to devote to his son Julian, age 5, and to watch movies and write about them. Considered one of the "hardest working men on the web", he has written over 275 reviews in just over a year.
