SHAY CASEY

""It's such a fine line between clever and stupid."
- David St. Hubbins

"I am, have been, and will be only one thing: an American."
- Charles Foster Kane

"The only true wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing."
- Socrates

"Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man."
-Jeffrey "Dude" Lebowski

"Strange things are afoot at the Circle K."
- "Ted" Theodore Logan"

Agrees with the Tomatometer 80% of the time.

Biography: Shay was born in a cross-fire hurricane, and he howled at the moon in the driving rain. And when he was just a little boy, he sat on to his daddy's knee. His poppa said, "Son, don't let the man get you, do what he done to me." His mother told him one day he would be a man, and he would be the leader of a big old band. Maybe some day his name would be in lights. But it's been a long time since he rock n' rolled, been a long time since he did that stroll. It's been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time. Now he's living easy, living free, a season ticket on a one-way ride. Asking nothing, leave him be, ain't nothing gonna break his stride. Don't need reason, don't need rhyme. Ain't nothing he'd rather do. Going down, party time, and all his friends are gonna be there too. He's on the highway to hell.(The above is written with apologies to Mick Jagger, John Fogerty, Chuck Berry, Robert Plant, and Bon Scott.)OK, so that "bio" was just a cheesy re-hash of classic rock lyrics. The real deal is that I'm Shay Casey, theater student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and amateur film critic. I spend most of my time wasting my parents' money and seeing movies. Then I write about them. That's about it.I also currently work as a moderator for the message boards at MovieThing.com (http://www.moviething.com). Do check them out!
