Biography: My philosophy toward film criticism is that movie category is irrelevant to quality.  Good, mediocre, and poor dramas, comedies, and action flicks all exist.  When properly produced, an action or science-fiction film can be equal in quality to the best dramas.  For an example, check out Steven Spielberg's action masterpiece "Raiders of the Lost Ark."  I judge films based on technical quality and emotional and intellectual power. Also, I am a vocal opponent of censorship, especially in regard to the Motion Picture Association of America.  As my stature in this business grows, I hope to enlighten the public as to the true nature of the "ratings board." Aside from film reviews, I have written multiple drafts of two original screenplays.  My first script is a science-fiction action flick, the second is a character-driven thriller.  The scripts remain untested and unsold, as I refuse to unleash them on the industry until they meet my own high standards. Although I have numerous film projects in mind, I enjoy many forms of written expression.  In the future, I will venture into other mediums, such as novels and comic books.
