    KIT BOWEN

Agrees with the Tomatometer 71% of the time.

Biography: Kit's a Florida native. She was born, as most people are, and spent her first 11 years in Tampa. With detours through Indiana and Washington D.C., she landed in Southern California, and eventually was admitted to UCLA as the result of a computer glitch, where she earned a B.A. in English. A long-time movie fanatic, since her mother let her stay up late to watch old movies like The Bad Seed and Duel in the Sun, Kit turned her passion into a long and varied career in the entertainment business; she's worked as an actress, director of development, story analyst and project coordinator. She even liked to do improvisation comedy once in awhile. She was eventually kicked out of clown college for taking it too seriously, but that’s all in the past. She was writing for Hollywood.com but now she has her own point of view with her blog, The Movie Kit.com--and loves every second of it, thank you very much. Kit is also married and has two children--and she loves that too. Hobbies: Playing tennis, nagging her husband about the yard, and making crank calls to NASA. Likes: Action films, saltwater fishing; listening to her kids laugh. Dislikes: Drivers who don't understand the concept of merging; tight-fitting clothes; ventriloquist dummies (they’re scary, aren’t they?). Turn on's: Having her feet massaged, dirty Absolute martinis and Jude Law. Preferably all at the same time. Turn off's: Filling out forms; waiting in line; people who call her "Kim." What people might not know: She was dangerously close to becoming a Mormon.
Favorites: Of All-Time: Jaws, Godfather Part I & II, To Kill A Mockingbird, Sense and Sensibility, The Bad Seed, Singin' in the Rain, The Matrix, Terminator 2, and the list goes on.
