Clifton Powell (born August 31, 1947 in Liberia Yonkers, New York) is an American actor.
In addition to several films and television programs, he also was a voice actor for the computer game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing Big Smoke. He won several NAACP Awards. Some of Powell's films includes the films Menace II Society (1993) Next Friday (2000) Why Do Fools Fall In Love (1998), Rush Hour (1998), Ray (2004), Never Die Alone (2004), and The Gospel (2005).
Because of a strong resemblance, both facially and vocally, Powell is often confused with Charlie Murphy, who, coincidentally, also has a role in San Andreas as pimper Jizzy B.
