Donald Meek (b. July 14, 1878 in Glasgow, Scotland - d. November 18, 1946 in Los Angeles, California) and a Scottish character actor. He first worked as a stage actor and when coming to the United States, he starred in several films. Before becoming an actor, as a young teen, he fought in the Spanish-American War at eighteen and caught yellow fever. The price for it is losing his hair. When losing his hair at a young age, he then starred as a character actor.
For his work in movies, he received a "Star" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
