Gavin Heffernan (born April 2, 1980 in Oakville, Ontario) is a Canadian independent filmmaker.
He wrote, directed, and acted in two movies, The Steaks (2000) and Expiration (2003), both filmed primarily in Montreal, Quebec. Expiration was a popular draw on the film festival circuit, and was awarded the Grand Jury Prize and Best Film at the Canadian Filmmakers' Festival in 2004.
Currently, Heffernan is directing the film Santa Croce[1].
Heffernan is an alumnus of McGill University. He also appeared in the movie Detroit Rock City.
