John Burnham Schwartz is an American novelist. His Bicycle Days and Reservation Road have been translated into more than 10 languages.
Schwartz' writing has appeared in publications, including The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Boston Globe, and Vogue. A film of Reservation Road is in production, due for release in 2007 and scheduled to start filming in October 2006. Some of the scenes are expected to be filmed in and around Stamford, Connecticut. Schwartz and the film's director, Terry George, wrote the adaptation. Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Connelly will act in it.
