Johnathon Schaech (born September 10, 1969 in Edgewood, Maryland) is an American actor. He has a career in movies and television which dates back to 1993.
He is an actor, writer, director and producer who has starred in such movies as Sea of Dreams, 8MM2, Hush, Welcome to Woop Woop, Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas, Kiss the Bride, Judas, Sol Goode, After Sex, If You Only Knew, Splendor, That Thing You Do, The Doom Generation and Forsaken.
His father is a retired law-enforcement officer. He and actress Christina Applegate were married in 2001 in a mixed-faith ceremony in California. Their publicist confirmed on December 5, 2005 that they had filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Richard Chizmar and Johnathon Schaech are the founders of Chesapeake Films. Their first projects include an adaptation of Stephen King's From A Buick 8, Douglas Clegg's The Hour Before Dark, Stephen King's Black House, Ed Gorman's The Poker Club, and Road House 2.
