Jon Cryer (born on April 16, 1965 in New York, NY), is an American actor, writer and producer. He is currently starring in the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen. In July 2006, he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his work in the series.
He is the son of Gretchen Cryer and David Cryer, and has two sisters, Robin and Shelley.
He is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science.
He married British-born actress, Sarah Trigger, by whom he has a son, Charlie Austin, but the pair divorced in 2004.
