Karen Dianne Baldwin, of London, Ontario, Canada was the winner of the 1982 Miss Canada and Miss Universe pageants. Baldwin was also the first Canadian winner of Miss Universe. She was crowned Miss Universe in Lima, Peru and crowned the new Miss Universe the following year in USA.She later hosted The New You, a Canadian fashion and lifestyle television program. Baldwin is one of two Miss Universe winners to have attended London Central Secondary School in London, Ontario, the other being Natalie Glebova.
