Lou Jacobi (born December 28, 1913) is a Canadian character actor.
Jacobi was born in Toronto, Ontario to Jewish parents Fay and Joseph Jacobi. Slightly overweight and sporting a moustache, he appeared in several films and television commercials, particularly in the 1970s.
Notable film roles include: a transvestite husband in Woody Allen's Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask) and one of the uncles in Barry Levinson's Avalon. In Amazon Women on the Moon, his character is sucked into his television by a remote control (similar to the film Pleasantville).
In 1999, Jacobi was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame.
