Marin Hinkle is an actress was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on March 23 1966. She graduated from Brown University and New York University (NYU).

She is best known for her role on ABC's hit cancelled show Once and Again as Judy Brooks from 1999-2002. She started her career on the soap Another World.

She has made several guest appearances on different shows such as Spin City, twice as different characters on Law & Order, Without a Trace, ER and House. She currently costars on the CBS hit show Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer.

She has had several small roles in films such as I'm Not Rappaport, Frequency, The Next Big Thing, I Am Sam and Dark Blue. She has also performed on the stage, for example in 2005 as Miss Julie, opposite Reg Rogers, in the 1888 play of that name by August Strindberg (Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, New York) (see New Yorker, 30 May 2005).

She has been married to Randall Sommer since 1998.
