Marton Csokas (pronounced Martin 'Cho-kash') (born June 30, 1966 in Invercargill, New Zealand) is a New Zealand actor with Hungarian origins.
He is best known internationally for his role as Celeborn in the films The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. He has also made numerous appearances in Xena: Warrior Princess as Xena's past love and ally, Borias, and Khrafstar. He is a graduate of Toi Whakaari, The New Zealand Drama School in 1989.
He is named after his father, who is from Hungary.
He is currently dating French actress Eva Green whom he met during the shooting of Kingdom of Heaven.
