According to DVD commentary on Back To The Future, producer Bob Gale stated that Hardin was cast at one point to play the character of Jennifer Parker. When Michael J Fox was cast as Eric Stoltz's replacement, Hardin was fired because producers felt she was too tall while on screen with Fox.
