Michael Patrick King (born September 14, 1954) is an Emmy winning director, writer and producer for television shows. His most famous work has been for Sex and the City where he wrote all the season finales and premieres since the second season. He has also written for another HBO show, The Comeback and as well as for broadcast shows Will & Grace, Cybill, and Murphy Brown.
