Thomas Ian Griffith (born March 18,1962 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA) is an American actor who has starred in film and on television. His first TV role was on the soap opera Another World as Catlin Ewing from 1984-1987. Thomas has starred in some TV movies, in 1999 he starred in the TV movie Secret of Giving co-starring Reba McEntire, earlier in 1999 he appeared in Reba's video for the song "What Do You Say".

Thomas' first feature film was the 1989 movie The Karate Kid, Part III as Terry Silver. His other well known film role is in the 1998 John Carpenter hit film Vampires as the head vampire Jan Valek and in the 2002 hit film xXx as Agent Jim McGrath.

Tom has made guest appearances on TV shows, he appeared on In the Heat of the Night in the pilot episode, Wiseguy and in One Tree Hill.

He has a black belt in Kenpo Karate and practices Tae Kwon Do.

Thomas Ian Griffith is married to his former Another World costar Mary Page Keller and they have two children together.
