Tony Gilroy is a screenwriter most notable for writing the screenplays for the first two films in the Jason Bourne series starring Matt Damon. Gilroy is the son of Frank D. Gilroy and the brother of John Gilroy and Dan Gilroy; all of whom are screenwriters. He was born in New York City. He will make his directorial debut with his script Michael Clayton starring George Clooney.
