Both DVDs have bloopers and commentary from writers Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, who also are writing the upcoming movie. The collector's edition also comes with 10 featurettes, including a profile on Depp, an inside look at the movie's premiere on Disneyland's Main Street, a photo diary from producer Jerry Bruckheimer, a feature on how Disneyland's popular Pirates of the Caribbean attraction became the basis for a movie and an extensive making-of documentary. For the DVD, Bruckheimer worked to be sure the special features give audiences something fresh. "We wanted to give people more than they saw in the theater, a little insight into the filmmaking process," he says. 5 Comments Report to Moderator Tojo on 7/26/06 at 9:05 AM :up: :up: :up: I thought it was great. Even better than the first!!!!!!!! Jack is deffinately back! I absolutly loved this movie. Johnny Depp is spectactular as always. I have allready been to the theatre 3 times to see it and that is saying something having 4 kids (5 IF YOU COUNT THE WIFE) lol. I can't wait to see the next movie. The way they ended this one really left me wanting much much more. I am a huge Star Wars fan and this is what I posted on my SW blog: Better than the first and just imagine what the third will be. I may have to make room for a new saga. The fact that this movie broke the record for opening weekend gross held by Star Wars not withstanding, this has the potential to be just as big of a series as SW. I will always hold SW at the #1 spot in my movie heart, and LOTR series has a spot with few others there, but it seems there might be room for another. If they keep going like thay are reporting, this could be the best franchise yet. Like, The Godfather Trilogy (1 &2 are great but 3 was a bit lacking) & The Original Star Wars Trilogy was better in the first 2 than the third also. However, The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy got better with each movie as did The Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. So, hopefully they don't screw thiss one up. I thought it was flawed as a stand-alone but as a bridge it definitely held my attention. Lots of story building going on. I wish I could be as optimistic as you. She also got to go on the new and improved ride at disney land!! She took lots of pics! she got one of Keira Knightly and on (fuzzy) of Johnny Depp. my comp wont' let me post them (sry!!) She said it's really good....
