ROGER S. on 8/22/09 at 9:03 PM list films that you enjoyed and would recommend to others 4 Replies Report to Moderator Fail Flicks on 8/29/09 at 2:17 PM Jesus Camp. I think it's an indie film. 2 Replies Report to Moderator Keith B. on 8/29/09 at 4:55 PM I think that documentaries fit the criteria for an indie film more so than an indie screen write. Whatever it is, Jesus Camp is an excellent movie! 1 Reply Report to Moderator Personified on 8/30/09 at 11:43 AM Jesus Camp has to be one of the more disturbing films I've seen. I love it though. 2 Replies Report to Moderator Rafael R. on 8/31/09 at 3:20 PM I saw Jesus Camp and it´s really really disturbing but saddly very very real. It reminded me the part in Borat where he goes to a religious service in Texas. Jerry B. on 8/29/09 at 4:11 PM Haunted Hay Ride The Movie. a fun 80s style slasher movie. 0 Replies Report to Moderator Rafael R. on 8/31/09 at 3:16 PM Waltz with Bashir it´s excelent and I also love The Darjeeling Limited. 0 Replies Report to Moderator Bethany B. on 9/5/09 at 5:50 PM it's still in theaters, but if you love music & indie films, then go see Taking Woodstock. It's not about the festival itself, but the story of how it got started and all the different crazy characters (Liev Schreiber is a cross dresser) makes it truly fascinating. Would Young Frankenstein be considered Indie? Anything Mel Brooks does everyone should see 0 Replies Report to Moderator Aaron J. on 8/30/09 at 10:45 PM Definitely little miss sunshine, and sunshine cleaning. Both are really good films. 2 Replies Report to Moderator The Savage on 9/1/09 at 7:06 AM Lars and the Real Girl is a good one. Little Miss Sunshine is outstanding, and I'm excited to see Sunshine Cleaning. Nice choices. 1 Reply Report to Moderator Aaron J. on 9/1/09 at 11:28 AM thanks, and yeh Sunshine cleaning wasnt as good as little miss sunshine but it was still a really good movie Bethany B. on 9/5/09 at 5:46 PM Sunshine Cleaning was really good. Alan Arkin is so adorable in these kind of movies (Little Miss Sunshine, as well) 1 Reply Report to Moderator Aaron J. on 9/5/09 at 8:05 PM Yeh is the sunshine in it all ;) lol, but yea he is always good. 0 Replies Report to Moderator The Savage on 9/1/09 at 7:12 AM It would certainly depend on the audience. I have no idea which of these are independent. I know several aren't, but these are still some that I'd recommend. 1 Reply Report to Moderator Bethany B. on 9/5/09 at 5:44 PM i always wanted to be a Goonie once I saw this. loved the character diversity 1 Reply Report to Moderator The Savage on 9/6/09 at 10:48 PM I wanted to be a Goonie as well. However, the closest I could get was the Nintendo game. 2 Replies Report to Moderator Bethany B. on 9/7/09 at 6:48 PM haha i never had the Nintendo game but maybe i should get it off ebay or something. i still have my Nintendo Bethany B. on 9/7/09 at 6:49 PM haha i never had the Nintendo game but maybe i should get it off ebay or something. i still have my Nintendo FJ on 9/1/09 at 10:24 PM Also Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and The Boondock Saints! 1 Reply Report to Moderator Bethany B. on 9/5/09 at 5:43 PM i love all 3 of these. Boondock Saints 2 is coming out in November, I believe... i hope it doesn't suck lol 1 Reply Report to Moderator Steven G. on 9/8/09 at 9:11 PM watch anything David Gordon Green has done. His most popular movie is probably Pineapple Express (which is excellent) but his others are far more serious. My favorite of his (and one of my favorite movies ever) is George Washington. Also, get Undertow and Snow Angels which he did as well. 0 Replies Report to Moderator |

ROGER S. on 7/30/09 at 6:40 PM found this so tell me what you think. 1 Reply Report to Moderator gone fishing on 7/31/09 at 1:19 PM wow, I didn't know that a lot of those were considered Indie films. But yea I'd say that list is pretty accurate (at least the parts I looked at). 2 Replies Report to Moderator Garrett S. on 8/9/09 at 2:16 PM Favorites: 2 Replies Report to Moderator Justin T. on 8/10/09 at 7:46 PM My top three favorite movies are Indie films and I wasn't even aware of it. 1 Reply Report to Moderator silver99 on 8/19/09 at 7:08 PM I liked the list you posted. 1 Reply Report to Moderator Bethany B. on 9/5/09 at 5:38 PM I liked Memento, but it sometimes felt like i was watching a quentin tarentino film, what w/ the whole telling the story backwards and everything 0 Replies Report to Moderator Graham T. on 8/27/09 at 3:08 PM My top indie movie would have to be Moon, and for a slightly more mainstream indie, Benjamin Button 0 Replies Report to Moderator Fail Flicks on 8/29/09 at 2:21 PM I was told that Pocket Ninjas was actually dubbed as the worst movie of all time by the IMDB but I don't know if that's true or not. 0 Replies Report to Moderator The Savage on 9/1/09 at 7:05 AM Apocalypse Now and 2001: A Space Odyssey. No contest. Magnolia, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine, Platoon and American Beauty make up the second tier. 0 Replies Report to Moderator Bethany B. on 9/5/09 at 5:40 PM Pulp Fiction, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, & Fargo are my top 3 from that list. It never clicked that Monty Python was considered Indie, but I guess I can see how it is 0 Replies Report to Moderator |

i recently had the opportunity to view how i got lost and i gotta say its pretty OK. it felt to me that the film was missing important scenes that should have been there but weren't. the film could have been really good if the movie gave you more story instead of trying to look deep and super serious.Aaron Stanford did a great job in this movie ( the guy from x-men pryo). its no garden state but nice try
