Terry Gilliam's Good Omens -- and Bad
by RT Staff | July 14, 2006
Blog Article | Discuss Article

I pray it will be 100X better than The Brothers Grimm, which was horrible. Good Omens is a great book, one of my faves, and I hope it's done right.

Brothers Grimm was horrible. Loved the guy ever since I watched Monty Python (Show and Movies) as a kid. Hope he can redeem himself.

BROTHERS GRIMM was not that bad. Certainly not at the top of the list, but it's enjoyable.

Anyways, I'm glad to hear that GOOD OMENS is still moving along, although it's a shame that Depp won't be able to be in it.

TIDELAND has release dates scheduled besides in the UK. Here's the complete list taken from the official website:

France And Belgium 28th June 06

Poland 7th July 06

Japan 8th July 06

Czech Republic 13th July 06

UK & Ireland 11th August 06

Iceland August 06

US and Canada October 06

Argentina October 06

Romania October 06

Scandinavia November 06

I can't wait until October (FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS, NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS in digital 3D, and TIDELAND!).

I'm disappointed that Johnny Depp won't be in it. I would've really enjoyed seeing what he did with the character.
