In Other News...Natalie Portman, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Britney Spears, and More!

Entertainment watchers know she shaved her head for the upcoming "V for Vendetta," but New York's finest must have been wary of Natalie Portman's new look when they pulled her over just outside the Midtown Tunnel. According to the "Star Wars" actress, who suspects the cops might have profiled her newly shorn 'do as a terrorist-style coif, she was barred entry into the tunnel and told to take the bridge instead. Although Portman infers her traffic stop was not random, as she was told, she doesn't seem to connect it with the expired registration she was packing. This perceived abuse of justice comes only a year after Portman told Allure magazine, "I'm not black, but I know what it feels like," after reading W.E.B. Dubois' 'The Souls of Black Folk.'

Famed celebrity and notorious cop-slapper Zsa Zsa Gabor suffered a stroke Wednesday and is in critical condition following emergency surgery. The former Miss Hungary, who is the last surviving Gabor sister, is known for being the original celebutante; paving the way for great-nieces Paris and Nicky Hilton, Gabor became better known for her numerous high-profile marriages (nine husbands, including a Hilton and a Duke of Saxony), catch-phrases ('darh-link'), and extravagant lifestyle than her bit parts in films ("Touch of Evil"), star turns in B-movies ("Queen of Outer Space"), and self-parodying cameos ("The Naked Gun 2 ½," "Nightmare on Elm Street 3").

And finally, a Britney Spears update for all you fans out there who want the scoop on the haps inside the singer-dancer-actress-reality television star's ever-growing womb: rumor has it that Mrs. and Mr. Spears are expecting twins. May the "Hit me, baby, one more time" jokes commence! Recent speculations have the 23 year-old mom-to-be desperate to increase her cash-flow by churning out another record, since her husband, Kevin Federline, has yet to jumpstart his modeling/acting career other than starring in the pair's wacky reality show, 'Britney & Kevin: Chaotic.' In a related, yet unrelated piece of bizarre celebrity pairing news, Federline's former girlfriend and baby's momma, "Goodburger" actress Shar Jackson, is reportedly dating "Kill Bill" director Quentin Tarantino.
