Alright, the trailer for the movie looks good(except for the taglines which were incredibly cheesy), but is anybody else just sick of this god damn Quentin Tarantino thing happening? I admit that i enjoy his films, but you can not look at Kill Bill volumes one and two and say they were the two best films of all time. All they are is an essembly of different scenes from other BETTER asian fims. I admit that i did enjoy part 2 much better, and that he is a good writer, but there are alot more talented people out there that we should be commending rather then this media whore. I was just so upset when i bought the "oldboy" dvd and on the cover is the remark"Comes Sealed with Quentin Tarantino's Stamp Of Approval." WHAT? WTF are they talking about? He had nothing to do with the movie and it's a film that he can only dare to dream of making. Kill Bill was not the first revenge film ever made and it certainly wasnt the best.

I know i';m going to be blasted for this because whenever i check on these boards, everybody always seems to be cheering him on, but i just thought it needed to be said.

This just looks like he's trying to copy Takashi Miike the way he copied "Evil Dead" and "Night of the Living Dead" for "Cabin Fever," one of my least favorite horror films of all time. Not even worth the $5.50 they charge for the DVD at Wal-Mart. How does Eli Roth even have a career. I just don't get it. Guess you have to be bosom buddies with Quentin Tarantino to get anything in the industry nowadays.

I agree that Cabin fever wasn't all that great. But "Hostel" does provide some pretty good horror moments. If you're a fan of the genre, than you'll probably find something to enjoy.

Must you forget that Kill Bill wasn't Quentin's only movie? Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite movies of all time, and most movies he puts out are quite good. Nobody's saying Kill Bill was the greatest film of all time, but they were VERY good movies, no matter how they were made. He uses a great mix of humor, action, drama, etc. in all of his movies, and that's what makes them worthwhile.

In case you were wondering, Quinten Tarantino gave Oldboy, the Grand Prix, at the Cannes film festival. That's Best Picture, chosen by the Head Judge. That's where the whole "seal of approval" comes from. I can't remember a movie with Quinten's name on it, that I hate anyway. Doesn't bother me one bit.
