The comedy/thriller plods on for too long with tasteless and witless physical comedy, though it has a few funny moments.

When Gloria realizes she's been marked for murder, she goes to detective Tony Carlson for help. Together the twosome set out to unravel the wacky but heinous murder plot. Along the way they encounter a deadly midget, a shadowy albino, a wild and kinky swinger (with an unbelievable bedroom), vanishing cadavers, and much more, culminating in a wild car chase through the steep streets of San Francisco. And as they make their way through all the lunacy, Gloria and Tony might just be falling in love, too... Chase and Hawn are the reason to watch this Hitchcockian update. [More]

Reviews for Foul Play
The film clumsily and sluggishly mixes humor and suspense and fails at both.
Ocasionalmente divertido, traz Chase tentando se afirmar como galã de ação e Hawn encantadora como em quase todos os seus filmes da época. Porém, é um filme descartável.
Chevy when he was funny, Goldie when she was starting her heyday, and Dudley too. What a deal.
Mr. Higgins's penchant for mixing visual elegance with coarse gags is equally ill-advised, especially because it makes him work the gags so hard.
This is a finely tuned and fast-paced offering which is chock-full of black comic twists and perfect casting.
Director Colin Higgins plays foul with the audience, constructing some of the most dishonest suspense sequences ever filmed.
