As the grim reaper comes closing in, the survivors go to any lengths to prevent what they know will be. This low-budget blend of hippie and horror genres marked the directorial debut of Alan Rudolph, who would eventually go on to direct such highly regarded art-house fare as CHOOSE ME, AFTERGLOW, and MRS. PARKER AND THE VICIOUS CIRCLE. While not exactly arty, the film does benefit from a groovy soundtrack, trippy photography, and all the motorcycles, long hair, and drugged-out dialogue one could wish from an exploitation film of the era.
