Buffalo Bill Cody breaks up an incident that was intended to incite a separatist movement in California masterminded by a brother and sister who are manipulated by foreign agents and greedy businessmen. They arm the Indians to prevent Cody and Wild Bill Hickok from forming the Pony Express, forcing Cody to defeat the Indian chief in single combat to save the line.
