Top CriticMinnelli's first foray into film noir is a disappointing melodrama marred by asburd casting of Katharine Hepburn as a frail defenseless woman, married to a psychopath (Robert Taylor, also miscast) but attracted to his sensitive brother (Robert Mitchum!)
