He idolizes the early Hollywood comics, particularly Charlie Chaplin, and wishes to follow in his footsteps toward the production of something comic but socially meaningful. His wife Simin (Fatemeh Motamed-Aria), on the other hand, is more worried about her inability to satisfy herself and her husband with a child.
