Synopsis: Akbar Abdi is a popular comic and film actor, who has recently begun to feel that his profession is unsatisfying, despite his modern home and fantastic wealth. Akbar Abdi is a popular comic and film actor, who has recently begun to feel that his profession is unsatisfying, despite his modern home and fantastic wealth. He idolizes the early Hollywood comics, particularly Charlie Chaplin, and wishes to follow in his footsteps toward the production of something comic but socially meaningful. His wife Simin (Fatemeh Motamed-Aria), on the other hand, is more worried about her inability to satisfy herself and her husband with a child. Her perceived solution is that Akbar marry another, younger woman, who can provide them with a child and be sent on her way. [More]
