Still suffering from the events of 9/11, he is haunted by the past while adjusting to the present, which includes a separation from his wife Janet (Andrea Roth). He now resides across the street from her so that he can stay close to his children, whom he bribes to supply him with information as to mom's comings and goings. Tommy's quirky fellow firefighters on Ladder 62 include the compulsive gambler Chief Jerry Reilly (Jack McGee), the handsome but rather light Sean Garrity (Steven Pasquale), cocky, Puerto Rican ladies man Franco Rivera (Daniel Sunjata), and newbie Mike Silletti (Mike Lombardi), who is the brunt of many an initiatory prank. Tommy finds relief from his woes by talking them out with his cousin Jimmy (James McCaffrey, SHE HATE ME)--only Jimmy died in the World Trade Center attacks. [More]
