Originating as series of shorts that aired during commercial breaks and then expanded to a full-length show, THE ADVENTURES OF PETE AND PETE was one of Nick's most imaginative outings. The offbeat series chronicled the suburban adolescence of two redheaded brothers with the same name--older brother Pete (Mike Maronna) and younger brother Pete (Danny Tamberelli)--in a surreal town populated by an oddball assortment of characters, including a militant Girl Scout, a lovelorn schoolbus driver, a housewife with a steel plate in her head, and a spandex-sporting strongman (the hilarious Toby Huss).
