Seems more like a voyage aboard the Titanic than a split-your -sides-laughing comedy.

Hoping to get his mind off his ex-girlfriend Felicia, heart-broken Jerry decides to join his best friend Nick on a tropical singles cruise for a week of sun and possible romance. But when Jerry and Nick realize they've been accidentally booked on a gay cruise, all they can think of is jumping ship - that is, until Jerry falls head-over -heels for Gabriella, a gorgeous dance instructor who, after a string of bad boyfriends, has given up on love. Hoping to get past Gabriella's stalwart defenses, Jerry pretends to be gay- but matters get complicated when both Jerry and Gabriella start to feel the heat of mutual attraction. And when Felicia unexpectedly appears on board hoping to win her ex-boyfriend back, Jerry is suddenly faced with the decision of a lifetime…

Reviews for Boat Trip
Boat Trip isn't all that funny, but it's consistent, at least, in its relentless pursuit of idiocy.
Whether you're gay or not, Boat Trip simply doesn't make a sea vacation look like very much fun.
If you thought the Titanic had an ill-fated voyage, just wait till you take a gander at Boat Trip.
While Boat Trip's central gag is indeed a boatload of flaming stereotypes, this movie manages to insult the intelligence of all vertebrates, gay, straight or other.
Gags in the insipid sex comedy Boat Trip are both lame and crass, meaning you not only don't laugh but stifle groans.
Funny moments, but few and far between...this cruise is all washed up before the ship ever leaves the harbor.
Cuba Gooding Jr. achieved fame by shouting 'Show me the money.' Obviously he was not acting.
There is no limbo contest on this ship, but you have to wonder: How low can Gooding go?
Only once during the 95 minutes of Boat Trip did I laugh, and that was in response to my own joke while writing the review of this pathetic loser of a film.
There has been some concern that Boat Trip, the new Cuba Gooding Jr.-Horatio Sanz comedy, might be harmful to gay men. This is not entirely true. Boat Trip is bad for everybody.
In a time of war, our troubled nation yearns for fat guys telling fag jokes and black men dancing. Hollywood answers the call.
In a week when travesties like the Gwyneth Paltrow stewardess movie remind us that almost nobody in Hollywood remembers what the hell a comedy is, Boat Trip's skill and modest ambition inspire nostalgic reverence.
