  • Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo will direct the chase drama Wednesday for DreamWorks and producer Nina Jacobson.

  • Lasse Hallstrom will direct a remake of the 2005 French thriller Anthony Zimmer for Spyglass Films.

  • Eddie Izzard has joined the cast of the Weinsteins animated film Igor, replacing Jeremy Piven in the role of Schadenfreude.

  • Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon are in talks to star in the comedy Four Christmases, on which they are already serving as producers.

  • Susan Sarandon has joined the cast of Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones, with Stanley Tucci in talks to join.

  • Finally, RT would like to remember Hungarian cinematographer Laszlo Kovacs and German actor Ulrich Muhe, both of whom recently passed away.

no jeremey piven on igor? well, i ain't seeing no movie that casts off my main man ARI Gold. good more time for piven to keep relishing the role of his life on the Funniest show on t.v. right now, Entourage! too bad for Igor, i guess there going have to "hug it out" without my ten bucks! The bart's penis moment was actually pretty funny. Not center of your add campaign or even worthy of not before the movie was shown funny, but still not disasterous.
