The Cannes Film Festival kicks off this coming Wednesday and, as always, RT will be there, soaking in the sights and sounds and reporting our findings. Two weeks of life by the beach in the South of France. It's a tough job.

Of course, the real thrill of the festival is in its programme of films which, including all the official sidebars, numbers nearly 100 titles - not to mention the thousands that'll be playing as part of the Marche du Film (Film Market) where eager buyers from all over the world will converge to watch films you'll probably never hear of, films destined to go straight to DVD in Bolivia only.
