Great list! I was worried you were going to forget about Thirst, it seems like the commentors here have forgotten about Park Chan-Wook's Oldboy (and I would suggest checking out his other works, he's one of my favorite directors). That, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus (yet another one of my favorite directors), and Pulp Fiction are the movies I'm waiting from most on here.

Hmm, when I think of Cannes, it brings to mind independent films. Up, Inglorious Basterds, Dr.Parnassus and Drag Me to Hell are bigger name studio movies. I think all of them look good though. Out of the others, Antichrist and Thirst both seem pretty cool. The rest look like the straight to video movies you only rent because you saw everything else already.

Actually Dr. Parnassus is an independent film no studio will touch it for distribution until the Cannes screening because no one has seen it yet and the story is really out there. The Weinstein Company is practically and indie company so Inglorious Basterds isn't really a big studio movie either.

I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS stars Jim Carrey, Ewan McGregor, Rodrigo Santoro and Leslie Mann. The film is the feature debut of directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, who also wrote the screenplay.

This is one movie I will see in Cannes this year !!!!

I'm probably the only one, but I'm really looking forward to Looking for Eric. Not only do I love The Wind that Shakes the Barley I'm also a huge Man U fan. As for Dr. Parnassus Heath Ledger and Johnny Depp sound good, Colin Farrell and Jude Law not so much unless they're playing the douchebag portion of his character then they're perfectly cast. :)
