Vance commands a troop of Confederate soldiers who rob Union gold shipments, while Jeb must do whatever he can to stop them -- not knowing that his sibling is involved. Then Jeb is ordered to elicit aid from the Apaches to defeat the Confederates. The Indians, however, betray the Union forces and attack the town where they have set up camp.
