on May 16 2008 01:09 PM That TOTALLY answers my question!!! Haha thanks for the mention guys. I really liked that show! Best one yet. It was cool that you guys switched off answering questions, to mix it up. Now to get Dave to say two sentences with being sarcastic... (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 01:12 PM withOUT* being sarcastic!!! (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 02:16 PM What does grass have to do with tomato's? (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 02:16 PM Haha, I'm working on it, Smi1ey :) It's a gift and a curse. (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 02:50 PM Bravo RR! How often are you guys ging to be doing the viewer mail feature? I'm already thinking of what to ask, but for now, I got nothing. Kinda dissapointed we didn't get to see RT Ryan's face, I know he's one of the regulars around the forums. He seemed kinda grumpy. lolz. (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 03:33 PM Ok so this is not related to RR, but how the flip do i get my avatar to display in comments?! i posted the question in the forum and got no answer. -_- I've run/built a forum on my own site for years, so I'm not new to this stuff, but I can't figure out what I'm missing. I'm asking since the 3 chaps above have a pic. *jealous* (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 03:44 PM Smi1ey, It's because the avatar that shows up on News comments is different from your Forums avatar. You can upload a Forum avatar, and that will show up on the RT forums when you make posts. But you won't have an avatar in News comments if you don't create a user journal and upload photos through there. So the first step would be to create a journal account and upload a desired photo there. (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 03:53 PM Good job, Smi1ey! (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 03:53 PM I totally just figured that out seconds before reading your reply. D'OH! Thanks a ton, Ryan. My mind is now swimming with all the possibilities of my new journal. I'm slowly getting sucked into the Tomato universe... (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 03:54 PM Haha, congratulations! And have fun with the journal. (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 03:59 PM Are you guys based in San Francisco? If so, I'm TOTALLY buying Starbucks for everyone one of these days. ;) (Reply to this) |
|
on May 16 2008 05:14 PM Even though you didn't answer my question, you actually did. Clearly you all sit around high fiving each other all day. I have one more question though, why did you include that upskirt of Jen Yamatapato? It was tasteless. (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 05:45 PM In reply to this comment (#1737595) Yo Smi1ey, I was kind of womdering that too, I was hoping that unlike IGN, RT would be in the bay area community and not in LA. I ain't got nothing against SO CAL but we barely get a piece of the entertainment industry here up north. Execpt for "Skywalker Ranch" and when "Wonder Con" comes to town. (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 05:47 PM In reply to this comment (#1737651) Dude, I don't think they did that on purpose. (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 06:31 PM Well, a good portion of the editorial staff (read: everyone in the videos)is located in LA, but we have a few more in our Brisbane office just south of SF, and you're more than welcome to bring them some coffee. =) Scarborough Fair, We may not have answered your question this time, but this isn't the last time we'll do the User Mailbag, so don't fret. We also may have something more interesting in mind to show you guys what a day at RT feels like. As for the rest of your comment, I really didn't know what you are talking about until I watched the video again, with an extremely careful eye. Even then, I hardly think you can call anything in the video an "upskirt," and frankly, that's kind of inappropriate to point out, even if it were true. You're gonna scare Jen away from even doing the vids in the fist place! (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 06:31 PM Yes fellas, we shoot this video in LA. (Beverly Hills, 90210 to be exact.) But I used to live in the Bay Area and work in South SF in the Northern CA office, where our compatriots Tim Ryan, Nick Hershey and Sara Schieron still work. It's too bad, since I FREAKING LOVE STARBUCKS! Hit us up if you come to LA and we'll get Coffee Bean or some shizz. Scarborough, you're right about one thing. We DO high-five all day long. And we're working on a secret RT handshake. But on the upskirt: was there one? I thought I was keeping myself as demure as can be. I have, however, learned my lesson as far as video shoot day outfits are concerned: cover that cleavage. (Reply to this) |
|
on May 16 2008 06:35 PM Jen, Please don't cover your cleavage. Sincerely, Internet Perverts (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 06:57 PM .............. (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 08:13 PM In reply to this comment (#1737712) LOL.. Going to see Spawn on a date.. Please Jen tell me that wasnt you're idea. lol (Reply to this) |
on May 16 2008 08:17 PM Also Im still curius... Out of all the interviews you guys have gotten from celebs, who is the biggest jerk you guys have interviewed? (Reply to this) |
