While not without some minor flaws, Dance of the Dead was far more fun than my senior prom.

A clunky, low-budget zombie send-up, Dance has heart and a few surprises, but it swallows patience by the pound, reheating screenplay leftovers and trying to disguise the results under the forgiving blanket of the horror genre.

while this is not quite Heathers, the high school setting allows for some amiable teen satire to give all those rotting corpses a certain freshness.
