May I say though I just can't believe that this film points a finger at our current pope but completely neglects the man in charge, Pope John Paul II. You also mention Doyle as a "man of character". I seriously doubt that a man of character would use scripture for his own anti-church agenda. To say Jesus was anti Church by getting angry in the synagogue is a serious and obvious error.Jesus was angry because the Church had become a market place, which actually confirms His love for the Church. This film displays betrayal,unimaginable suffering and raw emotion. I was hoping it was not going to add it's own anti-catholic spin. (As if the facts weren't enough) but unfortunate it did.
