New Dragonball Images Hit the Web
Justin Chatwin IS Goku.
They could be gone by the time you read this, but a batch of new Dragonball images has hit the Web, and we thought you'd probably like to know.
JoBlo shared the scoop on Friday, posting a series of shots from an unnamed "operative stashed inside the production" of the anime adaptation, including looks at stars Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum and a glimpse of what JoBlo refers to as "the aesthetic" of the live-action Dragonball.
Dragonball, opening April 3, 2009, stars Chatwin, Rossum, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, and Chow Yun-Fat, and follows the adventures of "the heroic Goku, a powerful warrior who protects the Earth from an endless stream of rogues bent on dominating the Universe and controlling the mystical objects from which the film takes its name."

Warheart1188 writes: on Apr 07 2008 02:19 PM I saw the pics and it looks terrible. The guy who's playing Goku was wearing normal clothes and was walking next to either a yellow Chevy Camero or a yellow Dodge Charger. I wasn't sure if that is in the movie or if it's a set pic but either way, it looks bad. (Reply to this) |

JettaJameson writes: on Apr 08 2008 11:22 AM I cant believe it took a few bad pics for some of you to realize how awful this movie would turn out. As soon as I heard "live action" and "Dragonball Z" in the same sentence I fell over laughing. This will be worse than Street Fighter AND Mortal Kombat 2 COMBINED. (Reply to this) |

onepiece226 writes: on Apr 08 2008 02:33 PM You guys are so biased! Everytime a live-action movie comes out for a cartoon, you guys always down any piece of news, until the trailer or something! you can't base an entire movie on a few unofficial screenshots. When Transformers was first announced, I remember Sooooooo many people thought it was going to be stupid, but look, it was one of the best movies of 2007! Dragonball Z was an action filled tv series, not a video game, movies based on videogames that don't even have that good of a storyline like Mortal Kombat, or Street Fighter CAN'T be good. Dragonball Z has alot of stories it can use. So just wait for some official stuff to come out (Reply to this) |
