"Dude" & "Kumar" Director Wants to Play "Fetch"
by Scott Weinberg | June 01, 2005
Discuss Article
Variety reports on a typically "high-concept" project for director Danny Leiner ("Dude, Where's My Car?," "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle"). Described as "Look Who's Talking" with dogs instead of babies, "Fetch" is a romantic comedy / chatty canine affair that was written by Jeff Lowell (of the upcoming "John Tucker Must Die").

There's no indication that "Fetch" is a remake of the Chevy Chase non-classic "Oh! Heavenly Dog," but it sure does sound like it!

I believe this was done before. Only it was called Look Who's Talking Now.

Sure was, but those of us who saw it have gone thru years of therapy to help forget it.
