Cool, Cronenberg shouldn't have any trouble snagging the original cast for this one. No idea how they'll be able to outdo the bathhouse scene, can't wait to find out!

Show me the proof.
Having a hard time imagining where they would go for sequel.

Well Viggo's character's job is still far from finished isn't it?

Can't say I'm overly excited though since the twist in the film completely undermined the interesting moral ambiguity of one of the characters.

Yeah the twist felt a little rushed in the movie, but I still really like the movie. This doesn't, to me, come across as "lets make a sequel for more MONEY!". I bet Cronenberg actually has an idea that he thinks would work. Plus I'm down for any movie that has Cronenbeg and Viggo M working together.

This sounds ok to me. EP is one of those flicks I have saved on my DVR and just can't delete it. It's one of those movies that you watch it every time it's on. A sequel? Well, just be careful... The problem with sequels is that they usually go somewhere your imagination didn't at the end of the first movie.

Yes! I felt that too. The character lost a dimension when you found out he was a...

Still an awesome film, though.

Hmm...that was an awesome movie but I don't know how a sequel would work.

Who cares about him losing dimensions. They can expand things and create all sorts of mayhem with other characters. If the same people make the sequel, why not?

Obviously I'm in the minority here, but I thought Eastern Promises was boring and predictable as hell, and I went in really wanting to like it! I doubt I'll see the sequel, even though I really like Viggo and Naomi Watts.

I am so pleases. The first movie was completely open-ended and I'm eager to see the story continue. And there's no such thing as too much Viggo.

Took my ex to see EP in the theater on her birthday. She hated it (hence "ex"). I look forward to this.

Although I was entertained, the movie ended so sudden at the end and left me somewhat a little puzzled at the end for the fact that the don that was arrested and is still alive and could seek revenge on the persons that turned him in. They're some unanswered questions such as how much control Viggo Motenson have over the syndicate, is he number one or number two, how long and is he going to remain undercover. Because the Don is the baby's father wouldn't he automatically be part of the syndicate. So if there's a sequel in the works, I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah I like Cronenberg and Mortensen, but I was very much underwhelmed by Eastern Promises. I wanted to like it, I was looking forward to watching it, but I really have no desire to see it again. Just didn't do it for me.

Me im just really sad the end of History of violence was not like the comic book. I feel they had no money at the end of the film to get the story going and ended the movie in a stupid and easy way. The bad guy looked very cheesy too.

Will definitivly watch another EP.
