"Fantastic Four 2" Begins Vancouver Shoot
by Scott Weinberg | August 24, 2006
Discuss Article
If you spent some time in Vancouver over the past weekend, you might have seen a bunch of people making a movie called "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer." If not, you might be happy to know that someone took some snapshots. (So that's what fake snow looks like...)

ComingSoon.net has the pointers to the pcitures, so click over there and check 'em out.

"Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," written by Don Payne and directed by Tim Story, hits theaters next June. Returning from the original is the whole gang: Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, and Julian McMahon. (Or at least his voice.)

Lets hope that JA spends the whole movie in a thong.

jesus, they're aiming for a June 2007 release? they sure ain't wasting any time, aren't they? more time usually means more effort and a better result. i didn't have my hopes up about this movie since the first Mediocre Four movie, so rushing into production for this one does little to relieve my doubts.

Counting down until someone posts saying Fantastic Four was a light, fun, silly comic book adventure...

In all seriousness, it wasnt THAT bad. Our expectations are way up after films like Spiderman and Batman Begins and compared to them FF cant even come close. But in my opinion the film is watchable...i just wouldnt want to spend money on the dvd.
