Complicating matters is Julie's interest in Archie, one of the more intimidating boys in the class. One day, while visiting his father's grave, Danny meets Hubbie (Macchio), a tenor sax player who's been dead for 60 years. The two quickly become friends, and soon Danny confides his girl troubles to Hubbie. Hubbie, in turn, confides to Danny that he's doomed to roam the cemetery until his lost love finds him because years ago he was killed going to meet her. Eager to help Danny with his girl problems, Hubbie shows him some 1930s style moves, which causes Danny considerable embarrassment when he tests them out at school. Eventually, though, the two hit on a plan that works, bringing about some unexpected closure for Hubbie in the process. [More]
