Happy to see Bolt finally get some of the recognition it deserves. I was saddened when Quantum beat it last week. I still think that it should have done better but que sara sara.

Twilight dropped 62%-nice. I guess bad word of mouth got around. I went with Role Models this weekend and wasn't disappointed.

I don't picture Australia have strong legs, I just think there is too much competition and with mixed reviews I don't picture the movie making its budget back at all in its theatrical release but I am sure will do well on DVD, I did like Australia though and I could definitely tell there was post-production issues and the movie could have been great if it was edited better and if they took out that kids narration. Also MILK was great and I hope people go to see it. Also, does anyone think PUNISHER will do any good? I know I will see it FRIDAY even though I am prepping my self for it to suck, but I am trying to give it the benefit of the doubt since Ray Stevenson was awesome in Rome, and Dominic West was great in The Wire and was a good bad guy in 300 and the director of Green Street Hooligans did it, so I am just hoping it is just being advertised badly. Does anyone know if it is being screened for critics? I expect it to make 12-15 mil next weekend.

Also I couldn't believe Four Christmases budget, it was 80 million! It looked kind of crappy, and will probably be a rental for me like Fred Claus which wasn't any good.

Why do people come on this board and engage in name-calling of others who didn't like a certain film and the cash it's making, when that's part of what comment forums are for--to express opinions?

Especially when they've probably complained about films they didn't like making money in the past(or are you a fan of Uwe Boll's body of work, after all), just like the rest of us? Are you really so pathetic that that really helps you feel better about yourself?

um, did you miss the memo? the purpose of this site is for people to discuss, analyse and dissect everything to do with movies. If someone is sharing his/her thoughts on movies they didn't like and why they think it doesn't deserve to earn big bucks at the box office, they are simply engaging in a discussion about the movie. And in case you missed the memo, that is what this site is about. So stop trying to take people on a guilt trip with the whole does-it-make-you-feel-better-to-bash-movies bla bla bla bla. So actually, it did over $50 million this week. Unfortunately, when the top 10 list is given , it only ranks Fri, Sat, Sun figures. If they used the actual figures for the week, it would have easily been #1 again. Even if going from Wed so to include Four Christmases (which was horrible). $120 million in a 9 day span is fantastic by any account, especially for a no budget small film that was made almost a year before anyone realized the massive potential it had.

A decline similar to it's 40% opening Fri-Sat decline and 40% Sat-Sun decline on it's opening weekend as well. So if you were wondering, yes, you are dumb. Sure it's making bank, but the numbers don't lie. It's falling hard.

but bond seems to have leveled off a bit

Aaah, I'm back from nice weekend and am sad to hear that Black Friday goes on and on. Does anyone besides me feel bad for the employees of Wal-Mart or JC Penny, etc., who MUST get up that early? Oh well, this a movie website soooo...

"Four Christmases" number 1 huh. Pretty lame. Like I said before, I plan on seeing "Quantum of Solace" (haven't seen it yet) and "The Spirit" this holiday season, but I don't think I'll see anything else in theaters. Although I'm giving serious thought on seeing "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", and when I'm old enough "Frost/Nixon", which looks amazing! A rental, seeing as how it's a limited realease, (I think). The new "At the Movies" critics called Ron Howards best. Good to see he can still make films after "The Da Vinci Code".

For anyone who dosen't know, "Quantum of Solace" is already in the top 10 highest grossing films of the year. (Worldwide.) So it has a good chance of making it in the top 3, that's my prediction at least.

I feel the same about black friday. People need to realize that their credit cards don't have bail out plans.

Right now, the only movie I'm excited about is Cadillac records. I can hardly wait. TCCBB doesn't look like my kind of movie so I'll pass.
