The year is 1948. World War II has ended, and Caney Fork is your typical American small town. Like most other bedroom communities, however, a careful glimpse between the sunbeams sparking over the rolling hills reveals a darkness that dwells in the deepest corners of the human soul. William Bender (John Savage) looks like the perfect father, but don't let his friendly smile fool you--the moment you let your guard down, he'll take you for all you're worth. Likewise, his enticing daughter, Kate (Sarah Downing), and her sociopathic brother, John (Max Kasch), have learned from the best, so be well advised to steer clear of the Shamrock Motor Inn while traveling through Tennessee--because it's better to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere than to fall prey to these three parasitic opportunists.
