Created by James Sadwith, the series took an unusual anthology approach with stand-alone episodes that followed the changing ownership of a mysterious handgun. Original and daring, GUN only aired for half a season but is presented here in this collection of the series' first three episodes: in "The Shot," a struggling actor (Daniel Stern) finally becomes a celebrity when he heroically stops an armed robbery; in "Ricochet," a retiring cop (Martin Sheen) embarks on one last case; and in "Columbus Day," a bored housewife (Rosanna Arquette) married to a security guard (James Gandolfini) carries on a torrid affair with a writer's-blocked author (Peter Horton). These episodes also feature supporting turns by Wil Wheaton, Kathy Baker, Ed Begley, Jr., Bud Cort, and Tess Harper. [More]
