Created by James Sadwith, the series took an unusual anthology approach with stand-alone episodes that followed the changing ownership of a mysterious handgun. Original and daring, GUN only aired for half a season but is presented here in this collection of the series' last three episodes: in "All the President's Women," a country-club executive (Randy Quaid) juggles his wife (Daryl Hannah) and many mistresses; in "The Hole," a teenage girl (Kirsten Dunst) from an abusive home takes up with an ex-con; and in "Father John," a dead priest's (Edward James Olmos) funeral yields revealing secrets. These episodes also feature supporting turns by Jennifer Tilly, Sally Kellerman, Sean Young, Carrie Fisher, Fred Ward, Brooke Adams, and Maria Conchita Alonso. [More]
