Unless the script is more true to the Hellbound Heart, I'm not wasting my time with this filth. At least they can't take the original away from me or the book it was based on. That's all we need is a Saw sequel with Cenobites. Might as well call it Pinhead vs Jigsaw and have Michael Bay's production team take over.

I couldnt get into the originals, yet i love the concept. A few good cenobites n stuff, but i think the actors in it just looked soooo damn dated, even at the time.
So if this is good, i would rather see a remake of Hellraiser. One film, i think could do with a makeover. I actually preffered the remake Halloween though too, so fans of the original may shoot me down for that. Im not a big horror fan though, it all seems kinda silly and wasted oportunities to me. I would loooooove to make a horror film, and show ya what real fear is supposed to be like.

Hellraiser like Friday the 13th are franchises that could do with a reimagining as the originals are not as good as people remember them to be. Go back and watch either and you'll see they could be much better. Hellraiser fell off horribly after the first one. As for the Neil Marshall idea please, I'll give you Descent but Dog Soldiers and Doomsday? Just keep Bousman and Wan away, I don't want more half assed Saw garbage. I vote for Christophe Gans and his Silent Hill treatment to Hellraiser.

im ok with remakes, but please dont if the original is better off: like halloween. original= classic. remake= something that should've been good and came out mediocre at best. (i had high hopes for ya rob)

My favorite Hellraiser was the first one. I thought Clive Barker did a good job directing from his book.

But, then again, I kind of think Nightbreed is under-rated. . .

The only GOOD news in relation to Uwe Boll's name is that the German tax laws which allow him to continually carry out his cinematically criminal enterprises are being reformed. His films will basically HAVE TO turn a profit in order for him to get more funding. Good luck w/that, Uwe! :-)

This is bad, because bustillo and maury are great directors, if you have seen their work, and they could bring on a film of this measure.

But if you want to know who I think would make great directors for this flick, I would either leave it up to Tim Burton or Guillermo Del Toro.

One question, In the case of Jason I see that it doesn't matter but in hellraiser and nightmare who's gonna play these iconic boogeymen. also I'm not sure if you can recreate pinhead with any sort of different look. He doesn't wear a mask and he's not burnt up so where you gonna go with it. My personal choice would be Gary Oldman, fat chance right. Any other dream casting on the boggeymen??????

I love that the mere mention of Uwe Boll's name get's people posting. Screw that bum and since nobody read the rest of my post I will reiterate my vote for Christophe Gans not because I absolutely love Silent Hill (which I do) but he has always shown growth in limited opportunities and def believe he would have the feel down for Hellraiser. Clive Barker should be involved with the movie as well as long as he doesn't write the final script. Nightbreed was not horrible but the plot did get convoluted with the serial killer subplot and all.
