Reviews for IMAX - Haunted Castle
[Murnau] creates great dramatic tension and an ominous mood in the stillness of his compositions and the lugubrious movement of his actors.
Maybe if they had concentrated on the temporal pleasures Johnny would gain from the bargain rather than the eternal torment part, he might have been more likely to sign.
Thrilling special effect gimmicks lose their luster, and Haunted Castle makes no real effort at suspenseful or artful storytelling.
"Haunted Castle" is a virtual "Haunted House." Something you might pay three to ten bucks to check out in the neighborhood, but with less creepy ghouls.
