Filmed on a nearly complete replica of the real-life Mandalay Bay, one of the largest sets ever built for a television program, LAS VEGAS centers on Big Ed Deline (James Caan), operator of the Montecito Casino. He employs a specialized staff of security personnel as well as a high-tech surveillance system to catch the cheaters and schemers who enter the facility.
